i have no problem with pointing out that anyone of any gender can be an abuser, rapist, pedophile etc because that’s absolutely true.
but the problem with always emphasizing “yes but it happens to everyone, not just women (or people of colour, or trans* people, etc)!” is that it depoliticizes the issue.

it needs to stop.
No wonder celebrities get eating disorders all the time. Imagine seeing pictures of yourself edited like this all the time, and then looking in the mirror and seeing something completely different :S
What really ticks me off is that he has photoshopped out ‘Elton John AIDs foundation’ and replaced it with his own name.
What a prick.
